Top 4 Best Affiliate Marketing Programs To Promote
Have you tried affiliate marketing and failed? Better yet, have you have tried promoting more than five affiliate programs at a time but didn’t get anywhere? Today I’m going to talk about four of the best affiliate marketing programs that you should be promoting. Why? Because these affiliate products are HOT, and people want them.
I’m sure you’ve seen the blog posts titled “97 Best Affiliate Marketing Programs For Beginners” or something along those lines, right? Do you read them? If so, you’re wasting your time, those people don’t care about your success, they just want your 2nd tier commission, which is why they write about so many at a time.
Now you’re probably wondering who the hell I am, and that’s okay because I just started this new business in July of 2019. Therefore, you wouldn’t know me at all. Not yet anyway.
My name is Garrett and I’ve been successful with affiliate marketing on a full-time basis since 2016. In fact, I turned 4 different blogs into affiliate marketing machines that now earn me over $20,000/month. Now I bet you’re wondering how … right?
Well, I’ll admit, it took about 2 years of failure before I finally figured out one of the key things I was doing wrong. So what was I doing wrong? I was promoting the wrong affiliate programs!
I was doing other things wrong as well, but I won’t get into that as I only teach that stuff in my affiliate marketing coaching sessions.
Affiliate Marketing Coaching
Yes, you heard that right and no, I’m not going to try and sell you on my coaching sessions, so don’t exit out of the article. I just want to take a minute and explain what’s so great about my coaching style and why my students are successful.
The thing is, I don’t get many students (usually 5-10/month) which is great because my prices are set to only attract people who are absolutely serious about wanting to be crazy-successful with affiliate marketing. Meaning, I won’t teach people that aren’t serious about building a long-term and sustainable business with affiliate marketing and aren’t willing to learn.
You see, I teach people 1-on-1 and after their 1 month of coaching is up, they have access to my messaging system for a lifetime so they can get support from me whenever they need it.
In the first month of me being a coach, I was able to get 7 people on track towards making their first 6-figures!
This doesn’t happen overnight though, and my students know that. My students are in it for the long-term and they know that it will take 10-16 months to get to their first $100,000 with my strategies.
So what does this have to do with the four best affiliate marketing programs to promote? Well, most of my students tried affiliate marketing before and failed, just like you might be. One of the biggest reasons they failed was because they were promoting the wrong affiliate programs!
Why Most Affiliate Programs Suck
This is simple, really. Most affiliate marketing programs suck because they don’t offer enough of an incentive or they have a shitty product that nobody is interested in.
Can you guess which affiliate programs I am talking about? Amazon, WalMart, The Home Depot, ClickBank, Commission Junction, they all suck. Trust me, I’ve seen it all and if you’re an affiliate for any of these companies, you’ll never earn more than $1-2,000/month at most. Some people might get lucky and do very well but, the majority will fail.
The problem with the affiliate programs above is that they are “too easy” to promote. They’re “child’s play” if you get what I mean. Everybody is trying to sell them too, which makes those markets extremely saturated.
Enough of my jibber-jabber small-talk. I bet you’re ready to see the main portion of this article now.
Top 4 Best Affiliate Marketing Programs To Promote
Before we get started, let me just say that this first one is my absolute favorite because it accounts for over 60% of my monthly income. Overall though, all four of these affiliate marketing programs are phenomenal and pay big commissions if you have the right audience to sell them to.
1. Click Funnels
Ever since I started affiliate marketing in 2014, I have seen some really great affiliate programs. But honestly, I have found that ClickFunnels has been one of the best programs I have ever taken advantage of, and for so many good reasons too.
Typically when I look into an affiliate marketing program, I look for 6 different qualities, and ClickFunnels has them all.
- High Recurring Commission Rates
- Lengthy Cookie Lifespan
- Reputable Brand Name
- Company Transparency
- Professional Marketing Materials
- Training For Affiliates
ClickFunnels provides all kinds of opportunities, but to make the most out of them, you need to master the ins and outs of CluckFunnels and what it has to offer. I teach all of this to my students in my affiliate marketing coaching sessions.
It might seem a bit complicated right now, but by the end of this section of the article, you’ll have all the necessary knowledge in using ClickFunels and their share funnels feature. If done right, both can massively increase your overall affiliate commissions.
For me, personally, I love their product and what it does for all of my affiliate businesses.
I’ve been using ClickFunnels since 2016 and the results really do speak for themselves. In addition to building up my sales funnels, it has also increased the returns from each of my customers. The product does what it says it will do, with no BS added. If you don’t know much about their product, click here to see what they’re all about.
In addition, I also like their founder Russel Brunson. His marketing strategies are what have gotten me to where I am today. Now, I’m not one to boast, but his marketing strategies have gotten me to go from making $1200/month 3 years ago to over $20,000/month between 3 of my affiliate sites. His shit REALLY does work.
So let’s learn a little more about the affiliate program, shall we?
When you promote ClickFunnels as an affiliate, it opens you up to earning some extremely enticing commissions. Whenever you sell or sign someone up to ClickFunnels, you will earn a whopping 40% commission on a recurring monthly basis!
Their smallest plan is $97/month, this means you will earn $38.80 per month for each customer you refer under their cheapest plan. Now imagine this, imagine you sign up 100 customers on their smallest plan. That’s $3,880 per month you would be making on a monthly basis! Plenty enough to replace a day job for most people.
Ready for the best part of the affiliate program?
As a bonus, the ClickFunnels affiliate program allows you to lease or purchase any car of your choice. Yes, that’s not a typo or anything, ClickFunnels affiliate program enables you to drive home any car of your choice. You can read about the details here. My wife and I reached the goal in November of 2018 and we ended up getting a brand new Toyota 4Runner. ClickFunnels has been sending us $500 each month to pay for the lease payment.
Here’s how it works. If you sign up 100 paying ClickFunnels clients, not only will you be making $3,880 in affiliate commissions, you will also receive $500/month that goes toward the lease or purchase of your choice of car. Now if you increase your sign-ups to 200, they’ll send up to $1,000 per month. You could honesty be driving a really sweet ride.
Lastly, ClickFunnels is giving away a FREE Affiliate Bootcamp training course ($2,000 value) to help you promote their products and start making commissions right away. If you’re a beginner in affiliate marketing, I’d recommend you take a look at the free training course.
ClickFunnels asked their top affiliates how they turned their hobby into a full-time career and got their dream car PAID FOR. What they got back wasn’t fluff or theory…
Russel wanted to be sure it was actual, real-life tested plans that WORK, even if you:
- Have no email list
- Don’t have any connections
- Have no tech experience
- Don’t have a social following
2. SiteGround WordPress Hosting
The rest of these affiliate programs will be short and sweet. I went in-depth with ClickFunnels because I absolutely love their affiliate program.
SiteGrounds’s affiliate program is great too though!
- 1-5 Monthly Sales = $50 USD/sale
- 6-10 Monthly Sales = $75 USD/sale
- 11+ Monthly Sales = $100 USD/sale
When you promote SiteGround, you have the potential to unlock some really great commissions of $100+. When you start making more sales, you can contact SiteGround about a custom tier. SiteGround’s affiliate managers like to see you’re selling higher plans (GoGeek + Cloud) and will likely consider this when raising your commissions.
SiteGround Affiliate Program vs. WP Engine – I know what you’re thinking… why would I promote SiteGround when I can make $200/commission with WP Engine’s affiliate program?
- SiteGround has a MUCH better reputation.
- This means higher conversions rates and lower cancellations.
- About 2.5x as many people cancel with WP Engine than SiteGround.
- SiteGround plans start at $3.95/month (instead of $29/month with WP Engine).
- Since 25% of WP Engine customers cancel, you might lose trust with your readers.
- Even though they’re lower commissions to start, it should be much higher long-term.
No Reward For Selling Expensive Hosting Plans – the main disadvantage to any tier program is you don’t get rewarded for selling the expensive plans. Here’s a dedicated server I sold for $229/month but only got a $50 commission. This is the ONLY con to SiteGround’s affiliate program – so you may want to focus on selling cheaper (shared) plans because more people will buy them and you get the same commission. SiteGround may be willing to make an exception for selling higher plans by manually upping the commission (they’ve done it before).
Realtime Sale Notifications – One thing that I absolutely love about SiteGround is they send you an email every time you make a sale.
Marketing Materials – SiteGround has plenty of free marketing materials you can use to promote their service. Everything from custom banner images to the custom link generator. This affiliate program has everything you need to potentially make thousands of dollars each month.
ConvertKit is a powerful email marketing service for online creators. It provides its users with priceless tools such as automation capabilities at a respectable price. Convertkit is by far one of THE MOST popular email marketing platforms on the web.
It’s easy to see why their affiliate program has risen in popularity in the past few years. Not only are the commissions great but, the product itself is flawless!
I personally use ConvertKit for all 4 of my affiliate blogs and wouldn’t trade it for any other service. Since using them since 2017, my signups have gone up almost 30% and my retainment percentage has risen substantially.
Signing Up To Be A ConvertKit Affiliate
What’s great about the ConvertKit affiliate program is that you don’t have to be a customer to promote their software. Anyone can signup and join. However, in order to be successful at promoting their software, you must…
- Understand the importance of email marketing and believe in the power of ConvertKit.
- Have an audience who is in need of a powerful, yet simple email marketing tool to help them earn a living online.
When you sign up to be an affiliate, they also give you a small training course that will teach you how to promote their software. You will also get a very easy-to-use dashboard to track your sales, and marketing materials such as pre-designed banners that you can use on your site.
ConvertKit has a simple fixed rate for commissions and it’s a lot higher than most other larger affiliate programs.
ConvertKit will send you a 30% commission for every person who signs up through your affiliate link. But here’s the best part. That 30% is going to hit your bank account every month for as long as that person is a customer with ConvertKit!
Don’t you just love recurring commissions?
If you’ve never heard of OptinMonster, it’s the absolute BEST lead-generation software on the market! They allow you to create lightbox popups, floating bars, slide-in scroll trigger boxes, sidebar forms and give you the ability to do A/B testing as well.
OptinMonster is fast and offers the best support in the market. In short, this is the best solution for lead generation and customer acquisition for practically any type of website.
OptinMonster is another one of my absolute favorites because just like the other 3, it is a VERY popular service. In addition, they have a very attractive commission rate as well.
You will earn 20% commission on every sale which can be as high as $118 per sale.
Below is their standard commission structure:
- Basic plan sells for $108 – you would earn up to $21.60
- Plus plan sells for $228 – you would earn up to $45.60
- Pro plan sells for $348 – you would earn $69.60
- Growth plan sells for $588 – you would earn $117.60
I’ve been promoting all four of these affiliate programs on all four of my affiliate websites since 2016. I’ll be honest, they are the best affiliate programs that I have ever promoted. ClickFunnels has been the absolute best for me out of all of them and accounts for 65% of my total monthly income at the time of writing this.
If you’re serious about making money online with affiliate marketing and want to turn it into an actual business, these four programs are the way to go. Don’t waste your time with programs like Amazon Associates or anything with physical products, the commissions aren’t high enough and you will be wasting your time.
